City Crews Respond to Remove Debris From Streets After Storm

According to Warren's City Street Foreman Tommy Adams, City street department employees had to remove some large limbs or trees from streets in three areas of the city as a result of the heavy thunderstorm Tuesday evening.  Work was required on Hill Street, North Main Street, and at Pine and Seminary Streets.  City crews were called out Tuesday night.  A lot of vegetation and small limbs were scattered throughout town.  Efforts continue to clean curbs, ditches, and drains stacked with debris as a result of heavy rains and high winds.

Mr. Adams said he was unaware of any major flooding problems but continues checking all neighborhoods.  He urges all residents and businesses to help keep debris out of ditches, culverts, or curbs and to call the city if problems exist within the public right of way.
