The newly painted water tower at the northern part of Main Street was lit up Thursday night and left no doubt of the importance of tomatoes to the area. The 57th Annual Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival brings in people from all across the country and with them comes revenue. Festival time is a great boost the the local economy. Signs of the festival and the arrival of homegrown tomatoes are everywhere. Come out and take part in the many activities remaining Friday and Saturday.
