Bradley County Extension Council Event


The Bradley County Extension Council Interpretive Event was held March 17th at the Warren Senior Center located on N. Bragg Street.  A meal was provided by the Bradley County Extension Homemakers, who did their normal outstanding job.  There are 14 members of the council which is chaired by Harry McCaskill.  Reports were provided by the four committees that function through the council.  Mr. Luther Dangerfield gave the agriculture report, Mr. Tommy Burrow reported on behalf of the economic & community development committee, Mrs. Judy Simmons gave the family & consumer science/EHC report and Mr. Ken Simmons reported on the 4-H/youth development.

Detailed presentations were provided by Michelle Carter, County Extension Agent-Family & Consumer Sciences and John C. Gavin, County Agent-Staff Chairman.  County Judge Keith Neely and several members of the Quorum Court were in attendance.  Also present was Warren Mayor Bryan Martin and Warren School Superintendent Marilyn Johnson.
