The Warren Civil Service Commission has hired Anthony Atkins as a city police officer. Mr. Atkins is a certified officer and previously worked for the City of Warren before leaving for another law enforcement opportunity. He reapplied to the Warren force and was quickly rehired.
Chief Randy Peek indicated he was pleased to welcome Mr. Atkins back. He stated Anthony had done a very satisfactory job and the city is happy to have him working again.
At this time the city continues to have one vacancy in the patrolman ranks and is seeking qualified applicants. Any one interested should contact Chief Randy Peek at 226-3703.
