Hundreds Turn Out To Apply For Jobs

Hundreds turned out to apply for a job at Blue Rooster.
It appears the good news about new jobs coming to Warren has been well received.  Over 300 people went through the application process Monday August 18th at the old National Guard building on Martin Street.  During a heavy rain, individuals were standing in line before 8:00 A. M.  All filled out an application and were interviewed for consideration.  Employees of the Arkansas Workforce Department took the applications and help those in attendance sign up.
Mayor Martin visits with many of those who turned out
to apply for a job.

During the morning Warren Mayor Bryan Martin visited the site and offered assistance to the Workforce employees.  He visited with a large number of those seeking employment.  Blue Rooster, LLC has publicly stated that Mayor Martin played a key role in facilitating the location of the new plant to Warren.  Channel 10 news out of Eldorado was also on hand and interviewed a couple of people who were applying.

Applications will continue to be accepted Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 A.M. till 4:00 P.M. for the next three weeks.  The company hopes to start production October 1st
