Warren Police Chief Urges Caution As School Begins

It's time for school as Warren students, teachers and administrators go back to work for the 2014-2015 school year.  Teachers went to work August 11th in preparation for the year and students report August 18th.  Chief Randy Peek of the Warren Police Department is urging everyone to be aware of the increase in traffic, especially near and around the school campuses.  There will be more cars, buses and pedestrians moving around.  Please be careful and obey the speed limits and stop at all stop signs.  Be vigilant and keep an eye out for kids both driving and walking.

Parents and those transporting children to school should make themselves aware of where to drop off and pick up the students and the traffic flow near the schools.  Warren Police will be watching the school zones as the new year begins.

The Chief says to be alert and careful.
