The Bradley County Quorum Court meet briefly September 15th to conduct County business. Seven of the nine members were present. Judge Keith Neely gave several reports on courthouse repairs, a new security system for the courthouse, bridge work on County Rd. # 65 and ongoing work on County Rd. # 32, which should be completed within 2 weeks. He reported a new solid waste truck is in operation.
The Court adopted ordinance #694 authorizing the borrowing of up to $110,086.00 for the purpose of refinancing a 2011 Mack GU813 rear load vehicle. The refinancing is with First State Bank. The interest rate is 2.14% for a period of 36 months.
