The Bradley County Rural Fire Department assisted the Johnsville Fire Department on a storage building fire Friday, September 19. The farm storage building owned by Kenneth Ferrell located at 229 Bradley 56, contained 400 rounds bails of hay. The hay and building were a total loss. The estimated value of the property was $30,000 for the structure and $8000 in contents. The fire was likely caused by spontaneous combustion.
