Mass Flu Clinics Postponed Due to Delay in Flu Vaccine Shipment

Statewide mass flu clinics will be postponed due to a delay in shipment from the flu vaccine’s distributor.

The new mass flu clinic dates will be announced as soon as they are re-scheduled.

School flu clinics will continue as scheduled as flu vaccine supply allows.

After each local health unit’s school flu clinics are completed, priority will be given to pregnant women and those who are identified as high risk.

We recommend that people wishing to get a flu vaccine at their local health unit call ahead in order to ensure the vaccine is available.

ADH recommends getting the flu vaccine wherever it is available (pharmacies, other health care providers).

While the vaccine is critical to preventing flu, it is still important to wash hands often, avoid those who are sick, cover your cough, and stay home if sick.

The Bradley Count Health Department received word on 10/10/14 that they needed to plan to delay the Mass Flu Clinics ( Warren’s was schedule for 10/24/14)  Hopefully the Mass Flu Clinic for Warren will be re-scheduled soon after 10/24/14 as possible. The department will update the public on when the new date will be.  If the public has any questions they can  call the Local Health Unit at 870-226-8441

10/15/14 Warren ABC, Warren High School and SEACBEC
10/17/14 Warren Middle School and Brunson
