Mayor Bryan Martin joined with members of the Warren Woman's Club on October 14th to proclaim October as "Domestic Violence Awareness Month" in Warren. He signed the proclamation in front of the Warren Municipal Building under a sign calling attention to this very important issue.
The proclamation points out that this is an issue that affects women and children all across our nation throughout all cultures and income groups. It is the goal of the Woman's Club to make people aware of the problem and that help is available for victims. The Warren Woman's Club supports shelters in our area for those in need.
