Warren City Budget For 2015

The Warren City Council has set a budget for 2015.  Municipal fiscal years run on a calendar year, January through December.  Warren's total budget for the coming year is $6,528,583.00.  This includes the general fund, the street fund and other expenditures.  The budget covers city generated income as well as state funds received and federal grants made available.

The general fund budget consist of the following:
Administrative-$261,222.00
Law Enforcement-$1,035,718.00
Fire Dept.-$226,682.00
Sanitation (solid waste)-$599,628.00
Building Codes-$46,910.00
District Court-$83,049.00
Municipal Building-$36,980.00
Recreation-$252,748.00
Cultural Center-$32,975.00
Armory/Neighborhood Center-$15,300.00
Other General-$106,100.00

Street Budget:
Street Expenditures-$507,300.00

Other Accounts:
Other Expenditures-$3,351,380.00

The street budget is restricted by law and can only be used for street maintenance and improvements.  Grants and certain revenues can only be utilized as designated by law.  The budget provides for a 2% raise for all city employees except the Warren City Council. Expenses are reviewed monthly by the City Council.
