Warren is a multiple time winner of the award which is based on the number of man hours of volunteer time contibuted by members of the community.  A large percentage of the hours donated in Warren relate to the annual Pink Tomato Festival.

The speaker at the awards luncheon was Governor Asa Hutchinson.  The conference ran Wednesday through Friday and consisted of a number of training sessions and educational classes for city officials.  Over 1200 people were in attendance representing close to 500 municipalities throughout Arkansas.

Currently Alderman Henderson serves the League on the Executive Committee and Mayor Martin serves on the Workers' Compensation Trust Board of Trustees.
