Truck Hits City Pool Building

City Pool building damaged in accident.

On February 25, the icy conditions on the road contributed to a number of motor vehicle accidents in the area.  One accident caused damage to the building at the City Swimming Pool.  The 17-year old driver of a blue and grey 1991 Chevrolet truck lost control of the vehicle while traveling south on North Rock Street at approximately 6:20 p.m.  The vehicle struck the bicycle rack and City Pool Building causing some damage.  Two of the three passengers, all minors, in the vehicle went to the hospital but were released.
