UAM Announces Campus Visit Schedule For Chancellor Candidates


            MONTICELLO, AR — The four finalists selected to replace Dr. Jack Lassiter as chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Monticello will visit the campus in March and April to meet with faculty, staff, students and members of the community.
            The four finalists and the dates of their campus visits are:
            • Timothy Cornelius, vice president for learning, global business, health professions, external programs and adult basic education at Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville (March 30-31);
            • Dr. Richard Dawe, president of Ozarka College in Melbourne (April 2-3);
            • Dr. Robert McGehee, dean of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Graduate School and executive director of the Arkansas Biosciences Institute (April 9-10);
            • Dr. Steven Runge, executive vice president and provost of the University of Central Arkansas (April 13-14).
            Each candidate will be available to meet with the public at a reception in the Green Room of the John F. GibsonUniversity Center from 2 to 3:15 p.m. The receptions dates are March 30 forTimothy Cornelius, April 2 for Richard Dawe, April 9 for Robert McGehee, and April 13 for Steven Runge.
