Troop F Welcomes New Captain

Captain Charles Hubbard

Arkansas State Police Troop F, headquartered in Warren, welcomes Captain Charles Hubbard as the new commander of the Troop.  Captain Hubbard is a native of Mountain Home, Arkansas where he began his law enforcement career.  He has served Troops L, I and C and was recently promoted to Captain and assigned to Warren.  The Captain has been with the State Police for 19 years.  He is 41 years old, married and the father of two children.  One is in college and the other about to graduate high school.  Captain Hubbard assumed the job with Troop F after the retirement of Captain Jimmy Smith.

Troop F has a long and distinguished history in Warren.  The headquarters is named after the late Carroll Hollingsworth, a former state representative and Speaker of the House, who represented Warren and Bradley County in the 1950's.  It is the only Troop Headquarters that is designated to be located in a particular city by state law.  Troop F provides state police services and protection for several counties in South Arkansas.

Captain Hubbard said he was happy to be in Warren and believes he has a very capable group of staff and troopers under his command.  He told salineriverchronicle.com he is still trying to get acquainted with his full contingent of staff and looks forward getting to know the local law enforcement personnel in the Troop area.
