Arkansas Children’s Program Administrator Certificates Awarded

Winthrop Rockefeller Institute, Morrilton, AR (May 1, 2015)   Hajime White recently received the Arkansas Children’s Program Administrator Certificate.  White is director of CAPCA Hermitage Migrant Seasonal Head Start.

White earned the certificate after completing 60 hours of training.  Topics included organizational management, supervision, legal and financial management, and family and community relations.

Eighteen children’s program administrators from across the state were recognized during a leadership banquet at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute. Tonya Williams, Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education Director, and Geania Dickey, A-State Childhood Services Program Coordinator, presented the certificates.

The certificate program increases the knowledge and skills of children’s program administrators in Arkansas.  The training course supports administrators in their continued efforts to educate and care for children.  Licensed Child Care programs provide essential services for families and communities throughout the state.

A-State Childhood Services coordinates the certificate program.  The Arkansas Department of Human Services Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education provides funding for the program.
