The Hermitage City Council meet in regular session Monday May 18th. The members received a financial report and were provided reports on the water system, sewer system, city streets, police activities and the fire department. There were no fire calls in April.
The aldermen voted to change the rental cost for using the community center. The fee was increased to $250.00 for events and $200.00 for funerals or charity activities.
Council members voted to change Stacy Ferrell's pay to an hourly rate. It had been set as a salary.
Mr. Frank Ford was in attendance for the meeting. He had been contacted concerning his interest in being appointed to the Council to fill a vacancy.
