Survivors Banquet Held

Immanuel Baptist Church was the site Saturday evening for the "Survivors & All of You" banquet held to honor those who have survived cancer and those that have cared for those fighting the disease. Close to fifty people were in attendance for the elegant dinner organized and hosted by Mrs. Debra Fisher.  Taking part in the program was Kim's dance Factory with speakers being Sonya Davis of the Bradley County Cancer Ass., Sharon Registre of Breast Cancer Inc. and Dr. Rosalyn Matthews.  The fellowship hall was beautifully decorated and the food was wonderful.

Mrs. Fisher said she wanted to do something special for those who have battled the disease and for those that have cared for them.  There was no charge to attend the dinner.

The invitation read, "You are invited to a celebration of Life" and printed at the bottom was "make every day count."  All in attendance stated their appreciation to Mrs. Fisher for her concern and hard work.
