CCC Cable Announces Major Cable TV Upgrade in Drew and Bradley Counties

Work is already underway for a massive upgrade to CCC’s Monticello Headend transitioning to a 100% digital signal for all of the customers it serves in Monticello, Drew County, Wilmar, Warren and Bradley County. Upon completion of this upgrade, CCC Cable customers will be able to enjoy High Definition on all Basic Cable programming with more HD channels, better sound quality, and increased stability for their internet service. This upgraded lineup is scheduled to launch on Monday, August 31, 2015.

To be ready for the new system,  Customers will only need a Digital Cable-Ready TV set. If they are currently able to see HD programming now on all TV’s in the home, they will be ready to go!
For more information about Digital Cable Ready TV’s you can visit this link: http://ccc-cable.com/what-tvs-are-digital-cable-ready/

If the customer has TV’s that are not able to receive CCC’s digital channels now (for example, 128 or 66-4), CCC has announced they will provide FOR NO CHARGE a converter for any tv sets that are not digital ready.  CCC is asking for customers to call their local Warren number, 466-7550, ASAP to ensure they can get their free converter before the analog signal goes dark to prevent interruption in TV viewing.

Customers using a DVR or Digital Converter will not have to do anything the day of the transition. The new lineup will be automatically sent to those converters. Customers receiving HD without a DVR will only have to run a channel search with the TV’s remote to pick up channels in their new locations.

Bill Copeland said: “It is our pleasure to be your local Cable TV, Internet and Digital Phone service provider. We look forward to serving Warren with the latest technology, giving you the best customer service over any other provider.”

More information about this announcement can be found on CCC’s website, www.ccc-cable.com.   You can also follow CCC on Facebook for updates.
