Lions Club Told About New Hospice Office

Marsha Cowling representing LifeTouch Hospice was the speaker for the Warren Lions Club June 24th.  She told the members that Life Touch has opened a new office on Martin Street.  The 501c(3) not for profit agency has been providing services in Warren and Bradley County for some time but has now place a full time office in the community to better service those in need.

The care is covered by insurance, Medicare, medicaid and VA and is available to everyone regardless of ability to pay.  Life Touch works with nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals and serves those in need in their homes.  They provide patience care, assist families, have case managers, social workers, bereavement counselors, nursing assistants, chaplains and medical personnel.

The agency has a need for volunteers and is asking anyone interested to contact them.  Training for volunteers is available for those who desire to serve.

To gain information about the services available or to investigate opportunities to volunteer call 1-866-378-0388.  The number is answered 24 hours per day seven days a week.

The program was arranged by Lion Rev. Gary Harrison.
