UAM To Host Freshman Preregistration July 13; TransferPreregistration on July 14

MONTICELLO, AR — The University of Arkansas at Monticello will hold apreregistration session for incoming freshmen July 13 and a second session July 14 for transfer students, re-admitted students and high school students whoplan to take classes on the UAM campus, according to Mary Whiting, director of admissions.

The July 13 session for incoming freshmen begins at 12:30 p.m., in the FineArts Center. Only students who have applied for admission and have receivedmail notification may preregister on this date. Letters of invitation were sent to each student with a request for a reply.  Limited places are available for each session.

Sessions for parents will provide information regarding the Family Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA), academic programs, financial aid, student programs and activities, residence life, campus safety and services, and information technology.

Transfer students, students who have been re-admitted to the university andhigh school students planning to take classes on the UAM campus may preregister for the fall semester in the Office of Admissions in Harris Hall on July 14from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Transfer students who have received mail notification may preregister at this time. Students who are being re-admitted to the university and high school students planning to take classes on the UAM campus may also register during this time.
