Warren Firemen Work Maintenance On Saturday

There is always a firemen on duty in the City of Warren including Saturdays and Sundays but several worked Saturday June 20th.  Some ten firefighters spent Saturday morning moving throughout town cleaning around fire hydrants and installing and replacing reflectors that mark the location of the fire hydrants.  The reflectors help firemen locate hydrants, especially at night.

Chief Howard Edwards told SRC that about 200 new reflectors were installed and a large number of hydrants were cleaned around to make access easy and quick.  He stated that the department is not complete with the work and will be finishing up soon.
