Warren Rescue Truck Responds to Two Accidents (One Fatality)

City of Warren Fire Department Rescue was called to two separate vehicle accidents June 15th.  The first occurred around 7:06 P.M. on Hwy 63 North, south of the Broken Spoke in Cleveland County. Warren responds to rescue calls as far north as Hwy 35 because the city's unit is the closest available. At all times the City of Warren retains personnel and equipment to answer calls within the Warren city limits.

The accident on Hwy 63 was a two vehicle wreck and resulted in one fatality and other injuries. Bridgett Bass, age 37 died in the head on crash.  Also on the scene were Cleveland County Sheriff personnel, the Arkansas State Police, EASI Ambulance, the Cleveland County Coroner and Bradley County Sheriff Rick Anders, who was traveling south and came upon the accident.  Thirteen Warren Firemen responded.

At 10:13 P.M. the city rescue truck was summoned to Bradley Rd. 16, Old Camden Rd., to a one vehicle wreck.  The car was upside down but the passengers had been able to get out prior to the rescue truck's arrival.  There were no life threatening injuries.
