Military Contract Does NOT go to East Camden's Lockheed Martin

At 4:14 this afternoon, Arkansas Online reported the U.S. Army awarded a military vehicle contract to the Oshkosh Corporation in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  The Army said the total contract value is 6.7 billion dollars.  Lockheed Martin of East Camden, Arkansas was in the running for the project.  The State of Arkansas had proposed $87.1 million in bond money to bring the project to East Camden.  It had been estimated that they project would bring 600 jobs to the area.
