To celebrate the company's one year anniversary in Warren, Ozark Mountain Poultry hosted a fun day of games, food and softball at the Warren Baseball Softball Complex Saturday October 3rd.  All OMP employees and their families were invited and a large number attended.  There was a lot of food, a dunking booth and lots of door prizes.  Everyone seemed to have a good time.
CEO Ed Fryar spent time on the serving line.

Dr. Ed Fryar, the CEO of Ozark Mountain Poultry was at the event to thank the employees for making the Warren plant a reality and encouraged them about the future. Awards were presented to those you have been with the company since it started up in Warren and two employees were given plaques for not missing even one day of work during the entire year.  A plaque was given to Plant Manager Ken Johnson and Facilities Manager Jeff Coffman for getting the plant started and helping make it successful.  OMP employs 320 people in Warren. They are headquartered in Rogers, Arkansas and have a plant in Batesville, Arkansas.

During his remarks, Dr. Fryar told the employees it takes teamwork to be successful and that OMP's customers make the company possible.  He demonstrated his knowledge of Warren when he said " the business requires teamwork just like what it took for the Warren Lumberjacks to defeat Star City Friday night".  Dr. Fryar told salineriverchronicle.com that the company is very pleased to be in Warren and that the plant is functioning in a productive manner.
Facilities Manager Jeff Coffman pitched during the softball game.
