Community Thanksgiving Service Held in Warren

The Annual Community Thanksgiving Service was held Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m., November 22, 2015 at Union Hill Baptist Church in Warren.  It was sponsored by the Ministerial Alliance.

The welcome was given by Henry Cox, the pastor of Union Hill, followed by a hymn.  Niseforo and Dinora Castillo gave a scripture reading followed by a prayer by Wayman Mann.

After another singing of an hymn, Jim Bales gave a short devotional on the offering and its purpose to help those in need.  The Union Hill choir presented special music.

Reverend Gary Harrison of First United Methodist Church delivered the message.  After the benediction and postlude, a dessert fellowship was held.

Non-perishable food items were collected to be given to the local Food Pantries.
