Hermitage City Councils Buys Smart Phones For Police

The Hermitage City Council meet January 19, 2016 for the first regular meeting of 2016.  Two alderman and the Mayor were present.

Chief Ben Poole reported that 17 citations were issued during December of 2015.  Chief Poole and officer Johnson have received training in the firing of pistols, racial profiling and other subjects.

The council voted to hire Ben Poole to read meters.  They also voted to provide a raise of $1275.32 to Officer Faron Johnson effective February 1, 2016.

Council members passed a motion to buy smart phones for the policemen in order to monitor weather alerts.
