15-0 Warren Jr. Jacks Put Perfect Season in Record Book and Bring Home 8AAAA Trophy

The 2016 Warren Jr. Jacks, Coaches,  and Cheerleaders pose with their District 8AAAA Championship trophy.
The Warren Jr. Jacks, under the coaching of head basketball coach Jimmy May, finished their 2015-16 season with a perfect 15-0 record.  Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in Crossett, the Jr.Jacks dominated the Monticello Jr. Billies, 42-29, to capture the title of District 8AAAA Tournament Champions.

The team had already finished the regular season without a single loss.  They continued their winning streak throughout the tournament destroying their opponents one by one.

The Crossett gymnasium was filled with fans who came to cheer on the team.

Prior to the game, the First United Methodist Church fed the team, cheerleaders, and coaches.

At the conclusion of the game, the players had a special visit from a hometown favorite son, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jarius Wright.  He took time to congratulate the team in the locker room and spoke to them briefly, encouraging them for the future.

The celebration continued as parents, teacher, fans, and friends congratulated them after the game. The team and coaches were met with a Warren Police Department escort into town all the way from the city limits to the gym where more fans showed up to congratulate them.
