Members of the Bradley County Health Coalition meet for their monthly meeting February 9, 2016 at New Beginnings on York Street. A number of topics and announcements made up the program.
Plans for a community garden at New Beginnings was discussed, a report was given on the insurance enrollment event held January, 25th, a report on the Eastside School "parent involvement team" was made and plans for fun night to be conducted February 25, 2016 at the sports multipurpose building were made public. Activities and grants relating to the Bradley County Library were discussed as was the "healthy heart" event set for May 6, 2016. Members were also informed about the upcoming Open Horizons Conference planned for March 31 and April 1, 2016 and the Bradley County Job Fair now scheduled for April 14, 2016 to be held at Immanuel Baptist Church. The Bradley County Health Fair is set for April, 9th on Bragg Street.
