SEACBEC FBLA Students Win Big at Spring Leadership Conference

PINE BLUFF, AR- Warren SEACBEC students recently attended the District III FBLA Spring Leadership Conference Wednesday, January 27. The conference focused on chapter management, developing leadership, career skills, as well as building lasting networks and relationships. Before the conference each member competed in an online objective test. Results of the competition were announced during the 2nd General Session.

      The following students placed in their category and will now compete at the State Conference in April. Congratulations go to Logan Adams- 5th Place in Accounting, Payton Ashcraft- 1st place in Spreadsheet Applications, Sydney Broome-1st Place in Healthcare Administration, Kirsten Emerson-4th Place in Cyber Security, Destini Owens- 5th place in Business Communications. Kelsey Parker- 3rd Place in Agribusiness, Jordyn Rose- 5th Place in Economics, and Samantha Satterlee- 2nd Place in Personal Finance. Other members in attendance included Austin Hammons, Israel Sanchez, Jordan Jones and Keely Watson.

     Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. (FBLA-PBL) is the oldest national organization for students preparing for careers in business. FBLA-PBL prepares students for “real world” professional experiences. Members have the opportunity to gain the competitive edge for college and career success. More than a quarter of a million students participate in this dynamic leadership organization.
