YMCA CEO Speaks to Lions Club

The speaker for the April, 27th Warren Lions Club meeting was David Richey, CEO of the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County.  Mr. Richey gave a good report on the ongoing programs of the YMCA and state the Y is continually trying to improve, grow membership and maintain adequate finances.

He state that to be a part of the Y requires a calling, passion and courage.  He quoted the Bible as he laid out the principles that guide the Y and his approach to managing the facility and it's many programs for all ages.  Mr. Richey talked about the needs of the Y and stated that a number of projects have been underway to make repairs and upgrades.

Mr. Richey talked about the board of directors and their dedication to the mission of the organization.  He stated the board is diverse and efforts will be made to add to the diversity and program enhancements.
