Samantha Satterlee, daughter of Shane and Renee Satterlee, was recently awarded the Governor's Distinguished Scholarship. Only one applicant in each Arkansas county is awarded this scholarship. The Governor's Distinguished Scholarship is worth $10,000 a year and can be renewed three years for a total of $40,000. Samantha is a 2016 graduate of Warren High School and will be attending Southern Arkansas University in the fall as part of the Honors Program.
