State Sen. Bobby Pierce, third from left, recently helped secure $55,000 in state general-improvement funds through the Southeast Arkansas Economic Development District for construction of the Charles A. Hays Advanced Manufacturing Training Center at South Arkansas Community College in El Dorado. Located on the East Campus, the Hays Center will house several of SouthArk’s manufacturing programs and will be a hub for non-credit corporate training.
