Hospital Prepares To Demolish Houses

The Bradley County Medical Center Board meet for their monthly meeting July 28th in the board room of the hospital.  Brandon Gorman presented the financial report, the home health statistics and provided information on the hospital sales tax.  The board then approved the following medical staff recommendations:
Jerome Gehl, M.D.,  RAPA
Barry Hendrix, M.D., ESS/ER
Bryan Jennings, M.D., RAPA
Troy Koch, M.D., RAPA
Aaron Spann, M.D., RAPA
Shannon Turner, M.D., RAPA
Jermey Jones, M.D., ESS/ER

Hospital Administrator Rex Jones then issued the executive report.  He provided information on the emergency services committee activities, Arkansas Share network and efforts by the Hospital Foundation and Hospital Auxiliary to organize a fundraiser for the hospital.

Mr. Jones informed the board that plans are proceeding to demolish the Littlefield and Carmichael houses that are owned by the hospital.  Work should take place very soon to remove the structures and work on the lots to deal with drainage issues.

Tiffany Holland, CNO then gave her report.  She talked about job openings, relay for life plans and the recently completed MASH program.  Ms. Holland told the board that the hospital will be providing CPR training for the Warren Police Department in the near future.

In other business the board discussed the community health needs assessment and selected an architect for the design work for a new doctors clinic.  There was also discussion concerning 401K plans.
