UAM ASBTDC To Host Three Free Seminars In August On Boosting Sales And Improving Marketing

            MONTICELLO, AR — Boosting sales and improving marketing techniques for small businesses are the subjects of two online webinars and one seminar to be hosted in August by the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC). All three training sessions are free.

            An online webinar entitled “Big-Impact Marketing Techniques for Small Business” will be held August 3 from 1-2 p.m. and will provide information on effective ways to market small businesses, particularly those with tight budgets.
            A second webinar, entitled “ Boost Your Sales,” will be held August 10 from 1-2 p.m., and will provide information on developing sales strategies, learning to recognize buyer’s needs, strengthening your sales team’s communication with customers, and tips for hiring, training and evaluating sales personnel.
            A live seminar on “Tips for Effective Holiday Marketing” will be held August 31 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Grand Prairie Center in Stuttgart. The seminar will feature marketing techniques and tips specific to the holiday season, when to reach out to your target market, and unique marketing methods to use during the holiday season.
