Relay for Life Held in Warren City Park

The American Cancer Society’s vision is a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer. The purpose is to achieve that vision. As a united force against all cancers. Relay for Lifers are on a mission to save lives and celebrate life. Every single day, Relay for Life events are held in communities nationwide to raise the funds to support this mission. Bradley County’s Relay for Life has raised nearly $7,000 to-date and teams are continuing to fund raise until August 31.

This year’s teams are: Bradley Co. Medical Center, Chapel Woods Rehab and Nursing, Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, Mt Caramel Baptist Church, and Southeast Arkansas Human Development Center.

The brave folks willing to take a pie to the face for the cause are BCMC chief financial officer Brandon Gorman, District 8 State Representative Jeff Wardlaw, BCMC chief nursing officer Tiffany Holland, and BCMC chief executive officer Rex Jones.

The ladies in this photo joined the Relay for Life in memory of the lady in the center's Aunt who passed away from cancer the previous week.

The last photo the image on a t-shirt that BCMC is selling through August 30. The shirts are $20 each and all proceeds will benefit ACS through Relay for Life. People may contact Tiffany Holland at BCMC (870-226-3731) to order.
