Two Men Arrested In Animal Cruelty Case

According to the Bastrop Police Department, two individuals who were wanted in connection with an animal cruelty case widely reported on social media have been arrested.

Below is the official statement released by the Bastrop Police Department's facebook page:

The Bastrop Police Department has arrested Boots Stanley w/m and Steven Sadler w/m in connection with the complaint this department received on yesterday 8-24-2016 to Sgt. Carl Givens with the Detective Division. Both subjects have each been arrested with 1 count of Cruelty to Animals- Aggravated and 1 count of Conspiracy. The warrants were obtained through 4th District Court and these two subjects were booked at the Morehouse Parish Jail.
