Hit and Run Sends One to Hospital

The Warren Police Department was dispatched at 9:39 p.m. to an accident involving a vehicle and a bicycle on Butler Street in Warren.  The police were told that the car had hit the man on the bicycle and then left the scene of the accident fleeing South on Butler Street.  The driver of the vehicle abandoned it and fled on foot.  Police have determined the owner of the vehicle who says he had loaned it to someone.  The person on the bicycle, James Terry, age 60, sustained injuries and was transported via ambulance to the Bradley County Medical Center.  The police have been told that the driver of the vehicle was an Hispanic male.
