Instructions Provided On Use Of Park Equipment

Physical fitness instructor, Memory Frazer, (right) provides directions to Kip Kelley on the proper use of the outdoor fitness equipment at the Warren City Park that was provided by the Warren Woman's Club.
Memory Frazer, an instructor in physical fitness at UAM, and a Warren resident, spent the  noon hour November 1. 2016 at the Warren City Park, providing instruction on the proper use of the adult fitness equipment located on the east side of the park just off Cedar Street.  The equipment was donated by the Warren Woman's Club and is maintained by the City of Warren.
Two of the members of the Woman's Club watch along with Mayor Bryan Martin as Memory Frazer points out instructions for utilizing the equipment.
Memory and one of her students from UAM provided demonstrations on how to use the equipment safely and for maximum benefits.  A heart rate calculation worksheet was handed out to all in attendance to help those using the equipment figure the best and safest rate at which fat can be burned.
A student at UAM came with Memory Frazer to help demonstrate how to use the equipment properly.

Mayor Bryan Martin and city Parks and Recreation Director Renious Harton were present to learn and to thank the Woman's Club for their contribution to the park.  A number of the club members were also on hand.  Several local citizens who use the park were present.
Many members of the Woman's Club came to the instruction session.
