At approximately 6:27 P.M., Thursday, February 8, the Warren Fire Department received a call alerting them to a fire at the Southern mill on West Pine Street. They responded with three fire engines and 24 Warren firemen. The fire was a saw dust type fire which did no serious damage to the mill and resulted in no injuries.
