GFWC Warren Woman's Club Delivers 130 gallons of Pop Tabs to Help Fund Little Rock's Ronald McDonald House

GFWC Warren Woman's Club members recently toured Little Rock's Ronald McDonald House and delivered 130 gallons of Pop Tabs to help fund the "home-away-from-home for families with seriously ill children receiving treatment at Arkansas Children"s Hospital or provide lodging to adults and adolescents receiving outpatient treatments at local cancer facilities.

In addition to the clubs donations, contributions of tabs were also received from Lindsey Goodwin, Peyton Sledge, and Rhonda Herring's Kingsland Class.

The Ronald McDonald House is a private, non profit organization that operates separately from the hospitals it serves.  Families, which are referred to the House by hospitals, must live outside a 50 mile radius of Little Rock for eligibility. The House enables families to stay together in support of their seriousls ill children or loved ones.

Several businesses are partnering with the Woman's Club in this project.  If you would like to participate, please contact conservation chairperson, JeNelle L:ipton.
