salineriverchronicle.com's thermometer watch is revealed that Monday was two degrees hotter than Sunday's blistering heat.  Across Arkansas, one city recorded 112 as the high for the state, and Death Valley California took the high heat award at 120 degrees.  That makes 109 sound a little better.  But add in our uncomfortable humidity levels, and enough said!
