Jaycee Benson Wins 2013 Miss Rodeo Arkansas Achievement Award

 Jaycee Carrigan Benson, 16 year old daughter, of Jim and Deannie Gardner of Hermitage recently competed in the 2013 Teen Miss Rodeo Arkansas pageant held over three days in Conway.  She competed in horsemanship, interview, speech, modeling.  She also participated in a Luck of the Draw Luncheon, where she was asked random questions over the sport of rodeo, PRCA, and equine health.  Jaycee rode her four year old horse, DoubleDee, that she broke and trained herself in this competition.  Jaycee has been riding and competing in Local Play Days and barrel runs for over 6 years. Jaycee has won three saddles, 2 belt buckles and numerous other awards and trophies.  Jaycee also is a member of the Hogskin Hunnie Drill Team. Jaycee would like to send out a big thank you to all her family, friends and local businesses for their support.  These businesses supported her and helped her win the 2013 Miss Rodeo Arkansas Achievement Award, which included A trophy saddle, belt buckle and plaque.
