On November 8, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. till 3:15 p.m., The Woods of Monticello and UAMS South Central Center on Aging from Pine Bluff will sponsor a free educational event for the community to help people learn more about the "Alzheimer's Journey". The event which will be held at First Assembly of God Church on Highway 425 North in Monticello, is open to the community. Professional and family caregivers are encouraged to attend. Registration for the event will be from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m.
Priscilla Pittman from Alzheimer's Arkansas will be the guest speaker.
The event is free unless someone wants to attend to obtain the five CEU's hours. If the hours are needed, the fee will be $30.
Please come and meet the professionals in Drew county that can help you and your family through this journey.
Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by November 1st if attending. Organizers need to plan for the meal and seating. Please call Pam Leeper at The Woods (870-367-6852) to reserve your seat.
Door prizes will be given throughout the event.
