EAST Night Was a Big Success

EAST students were on hand Tuesday evening to share their projects with the public.
The Southeast Arkansas Community-based Education Center EASTlab classes held an Open House Tuesday, October 16 to showcase their numerous projects to the public.  Ms. Chrissie Barnes, the class instructor, along with many of the students were on hand to show the projects they are working on and to demonstrate the makings of EAST.  The program involves around 80 students in grades 10-12.  It teaches technology skills and teamwork.

EAST Night Out was a big success.

Kimberly Wilson works to promote the recycling program.

Students put their learning into practice.

Among the many projects underway is the development of a paper and plastic recycling program for SEACBEC and Powerpoint presentations to be available for use by the Warren Mayor's office.
