Buck Fever Set for Next Weekend


The 26th Annual Buck Fever Festival will be on Friday thru Sunday, November 9—11 in Banks. The many activities will include arts & crafts, craft booths, cake walks, a talent show, pageants, parade, and a chili dinner.

New to Buck Fever will be the General Lee and Daisy Dukes Jeep from the Dukes of Hazzard. There will also be a shooting range from Daisy BB.

The Buck Fever Pageants will be 6:30 P.M. on Friday, November 9 for ages 12 years and younger and Saturday, November 10 for ages 13 years and up. Entry fee is $15. Entry deadline is November  6. The divisions: Baby Girl & Baby Boy 0-12 months; Toddler Miss & Mr. 13-23 months; Tiny Miss & Little Mr. 2-4 years;  Little Miss & Mr. Buck Fever 5-7 years; Petite Miss  8-10 years: Young Miss 11-12 years; Jr. Miss 13-15 years; Miss Buck Fever 16-21



The Talent Show age divisions are:  4-9, 10—14, 15—19, and 20 & Up. The performance categories are: dance, vocal, instrumental,  and variety. The performance categories are: dance, vocal, instrumental,  and variety. Entry deadline is November  6. Entry fee is $15

Entry forms for all events are available at Johnny’s Radiator Shop and the Chamber office.
The Buck Fever Parade will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 10. Parade line up will begin at 11:30 AM.

The Community Praise and Worship Service will be Sunday, November 11 from 10:00 AM—12:00 PM. Wear your camo.
