Scout Pack Organized in Hermitage

Scouts enjoy learning about the fire department.

A Boy Scout pack has been established in Hermitage.  They are very excited about new recruits.  They will have meetings every two weeks with the next meeting to be held February 21, 2013.  Boys 1st grade through 5th grade are welcome to attend the meeting and join the newly-formed club.  Members do not have to be from Hermitage.  The sign-up fee is $7.00.

This week, during the pack meeting, the scouts visited the fire station to learn about what firemen do and how they save lives.  In addition, a local EMT showed the scouts how they take care of patients int he field.  The scouts had a great time and are excited about the next meeting where they will learn about police officers.

For more info on joining or other questions call Joanna Poole at 870-820-6221.
