BREAKING NEWS: A New and Separate Wildfire Ignites in Drew County East of Wilmar

Salineriverchronicle.com can report another wild fire has broken out that is not related to the Tuesday and Wednesday East Central Bradley County wildfire.  The new forest fire is on the east side of Wilmar and south of the Highway.

UPDATE 5:27 p.m.: Warren School District Superintendent Marilyn Johnson has reported that Highway 278 is closed between Wilmar and the Monticello Baseball and Soccer Complex due to the forest fire.  People traveling to the Warren Junior High Football game at Lake Village should take a different route.
