The 2013 Southeast District Fair was held September 30- October 5 in Pine Bluff, AR. Hermitage FFA members placed well in the livestock competitions at the fair. On Tuesday, October 1, Samantha Clanton had Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat; She also won the Junior Goat Showmanship contest. Ali Hollingsworth had Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb. Cindy Nolan and Emily Williams had lambs placing in the top 10. Akay Wardlaw won Junior Lamb Showmanship.
On Friday, October 4, Brooke Clanton had Grand Champion Market Hog. Ashton Outlaw, Will Outlaw, Akay Wardlaw, Cindy Nolan, and Emily Williams all had hogs placing in the top 10. Akay Wardlaw was chosen the winner in Junior Hog Showmanship. All of these student participated in the premium sale and parade of champions at Hestand Stadium on Friday night.
