Members of the Bradley County Hometown Health Coalition meet March 19th at the Southeast Arkansas Community Based Education Center. There were ten representatives present to discuss how to promote good health within Bradley County and areas which should be addressed by the organization. There were members on hand form Delta Counseling, Experience Works, Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care, SEACBEC, and the Southeast Arkansas Human Development Center.
During the meeting it was pointed out that the Work Experience program is available to assist persons 55 or older who desire job training and who need help locating employment. Those participating are paid while undergoing the training. Persons interested in looking into the opportunities should contact the Work Experience office located in the old National Guard Armory at 101 South Martin.
